Workplace Change Management Junior Associate

Steele is currently seeking a full-time Workplace Change Management Junior Associate to join its Workplace Experience & Change division, which focuses on delivering workplace solutions that support new ways of working. We integrate real estate, technology, and people management practices and processes to drive efficiency, engagement, collaboration and innovation for our clients. Reporting to the Director, Workplace Experience & Change, this position will be client facing and will support the management and execution of vision and strategy for workplace solutions, including physical spaces, technology, and work practices and processes.

Our desired candidate will have direct or transferable experience, which will enable him/her to support change related activities as identified by the larger change team, including the design of communications, engagement, resistance management and rewards and recognition strategies. Topic areas may include workplace strategy, office space redesign, technology deployments, move/relocation management, change management and transition support, strategic communication, process changes and others.

This position calls for a forward-thinking, talented professional with the ability to successfully manage multiple priorities with supervision and guidance. Strong communications planning, writing and speaking skills, the ability to develop presentation materials, an interest in partnering with team members to develop change-related trainings and the ability to connect and collaborate with stakeholders at all organizational levels are essential attributes of our ideal candidate.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Support change related activities under the direction of the larger change team, including the design of communications, engagement, resistance management and rewards and recognition strategies towards employee adoption of new work spaces, business practices and processes, technologies, or other aspects of workplace changes;
  • Support the management and execution of vision and strategy for workplace solutions, including physical spaces, furniture, technology, and work practices and processes;
  • Help team engage with and solicit feedback from various stakeholder groups, including leadership teams, employee ambassador groups, labor unions, business partners, and external stakeholders;
  • Partner with team to develop presentation materials and trainings related to change management.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred;
  • 1-3 years of experience in workplace change management, program management, or communications;
  • 1-3 years of experience working on consulting projects;
  • Participated in the development of change management strategies, either in the workplace or as part of degree course work;
  • Executed change related activities under the direction of others, including the design of communications, engagement, resistance management and rewards and recognition strategies towards employee adoption of new work spaces, business practices and processes, technologies, or other aspects of workplace changes;
  • Supported the management and execution of vision and strategy for workplace solutions, including physical spaces, furniture, technology, and business practices and processes;
  • Helped engage with and solicit feedback from various stakeholder groups, including leadership teams, employee ambassador groups, labor unions, business partners, and external stakeholders;
  • Partnered with team members to develop presentation materials and change-related trainings;
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and must federal meet clearance eligibility requirements for access to sensitive information.

Desired Skills
